About Sally Shore / Weaver
I studied art at Kent State University in the late 1960's with a concentration in graphic design and, luckily, I took a weaving class my last quarter before graduation.
As a stay-at-home mom, I first wove commissions for clients of architects and interior decorators and co-owned a graphic design studio in the late 1970's.
I believe in collecting techniques and materials and I now divide my studio time playing with weaving, knitting, felting (wet and dry), fiber collage, eco-printing and bead weaving. And the occasional jigsaw puzzle.
Commissions are welcome. They often take me in new directions.
"Zephyr" is a tri-axial weave pushing the rules to get more action!
